It is with a heavy heart that I share this information of his passing.
Work was under way to catalog and archive Michaels work, branching out to his own website and bringing his whole digital world together. The following images were his initial picks for his page and are what he wanted to start his site with. Uploaded less than 2 weeks before his passing, these were a small cross section of ‘Everett’ images that he wanted to be seen first when people came to his page. I hope you enjoy them.
Ranging from 2003 through 2013 shows the range of images he loved to share with the world. I will always be in awe of the vibrant colors and images he could come up with.
While the GD played a huge part of Michaels work and his initial jump into rock art he could and did do so much more.
My first exposure to Michaels work was from a friend who ended up later introducing me to him. And once I saw his Jimi Hendrix and other works I was fan and turned into friends over the years.
His talent will not be forgotten with the Michael Everett Foundation/Trust being formed and a scholarship program in Michaels name to help others realize their artistic dreams.
